City, State: Ellenton, Florida Comments: Dear Members of VR-24 Det. Naples , Italy........1958-1959 I was an ATN-3, lucky enough to be station in Naples with a bunch of great guys. I arrived in 1958 and went immediately to the Crete Island to help and support our TF-1 aircraft that was supporting the 6th Fleet. Returning to Naples after 3 months, I started training as a Radioman for our R5D's. With the help of Davison and other members, I flew as 2nd Radio till my departure in May of 1959. I have tried to contact several of our members with little luck. Maybe someone out there will see this email and respond. What fond memories I have of those days. God Bless all .......
