Well it's me again.  Sorry to keep posting but maybe it will be the last one for a while.  Finally, after much trouble, I got the C-1A videos posted on youtube.com.  Please bear in mind that  this was a new camera and it was my first videos---ever!  I learned from it too!  When you search for the videos they don't all come up for some reason so when you find one you will see my email name under the title on the left side.  Next to it you will see 7 videos.  Just click on that and then you can view them all.
The jerky action was caused by the tripod.  Also I picked up some unwanted sounds-but- there are some good engine sounds which you will recognize.
These videos are best viewed at full screen.  Hope you enjoy them enough to get some activity going on this website.
Search:  Grumman C-1A Trader or Captain Daniel Serrato.
Enjoy.

Hello again fellow squadronmates,

I have a lead on a C-1A NATOPS Flight Manual.  To the gentleman who called me that first morning, I tried to post my request on the VR-24 Facebook page, but you can't post on there without requesting to join the "group".  I did so and never got a reply.
Thanks to all who did try to help.  It is for a worthy cause.  I made 7 videos of Captain Serrato's C-1A this past weekend.  I am having trouble uploading to youtube.  I will continue to try though, and I will post a notice on here when I can get them up.
Thanks,

"Bill"

Hello again.

So far no contact about the C-1A NATOPS Flight Manual.  I would be glad to get one of any kind, not just the latest updated one.  If you have one and would be willing to part with it to help keep a "piece of history" flying, please contact me.  The plane belongs to Navy Captain Daniel Serrato.  He realizes the historic importance of the COD and he works tirelessly to preserve it and keep it airworthy in order to take it to airshows for people to reconnect with their past.  Chuck Kenyon and I do all that we can to help him in our spare time.
So--if anyone can help us with the Natops, please contact me.
Thanks,

"Bill"

Hello fellow squadron mates,

I am in need of a Grumman C-1A NATOPS Flight Manual with the last updates in good condition if anyone out there has one.  I have been helping to maintain one in airworthy condition and a NATOPS would really help out.  I had to turn mine in when I transferred out of VR-24.
My contact info. is as follows:

chevytruckrpw@yahoo.com     or     256-447-0060

Thanks a bunch,

"Bill"
